Trip to London

On a not-so-sunny Wednesday in August, Fran, James and Hannah Robertson, one of our CYM placement students took a group of four young people from Rose Hill J.O.Y on a day out to London.  We met at 8:30 a.m. and were not going to have our high spirits for the day beaten by an overcast weather forecast.

The day was full of fun and adventure with visits to the Science Museum and the London Eye, lunch in Hyde Park and trips on the coach, the underground and a boat trip down the River Thames.  For three of the young people, this was their first visit to London.

During our day, a few fears were faced: a fear of heights, a fear of the underground and a fear of boats were all confronted by the brave youngsters.

After a memorable and exciting day, we returned to Oxford at 10p.m. ready for bed.

Come back soon for a slideshow of the day
